After five months (and many hundreds of pounds) getting nowhere with my previous IT services technician we asked David Morton from Surrey Hills PC if he could identify why we were having so many serious problems with our systems. He said, “Bring your equipment round to my home right now and I’ll see if I can get you up and running again by tomorrow morning.” This was 4.00pm on the evening of Good Friday 2015.

Now David and I had not worked together before – and he was leaving to go on holiday over the Easter weekend – but he said he’d try and see what he could do. Miraculously, I was able to pick up the now-working iMac on Saturday morning. (Our old IT person had said he could not look at the machine until the end of the following week, but we really would be better off buying a new iMac.)

On David’s return from holiday he looked at the iMac again and discovered precisely what the problem was. It has since been running reliably like a brand new computer. Not only that, he explained to me how he had traced the problem and I actually understood everything he told me. Truly remarkable.

Surrey Hills PC will now be our IT Services supplier for life, and I am telling everyone I know about David’s expertise and the supreme confidence we have in him.
