I have worked in IT for over 20 years, most of that in the city for demanding investment banks for whom 100% reliability and performance are of the utmost importance, together with strong interpersonal skills.

I have been providing local IT services for the last 12 years.

I charge £50 per hour and do not charge for travel if local. And I am keen to only ever charge a fair rate for the job in hand; I will only charge what we agree to be reasonable, and I won’t charge for my own learning/investigation time. Also, I won’t charge for my time if I have been unable to resolve your problem (no fix, no fee).

Hardware is passed on at cost, apart from a £50 handling charge for new PC purchases.
